Today, Mommy was able to reunite with her long, lost "daughter" - Renee Cardello. So I have a sister! Yea! Renee was one of Mommy's students when Mommy taught High School in Marietta, GA (Cobb County).
Now, sister Renee has 2 children of her own and lives in Macedonia, OH (just outside Cleveland).

They went to brunch at "The Original Pancake House." Of course, it's not REALLY the "Original". The REAL Original Pancake House is in Atlanta. WOW! What is that parked outside the restaurant? Why - it's a Prius from Cobb County Georgia. What are the odds? |
|
Renee and Mommy haven't seen each other in years - and yet, they still dress in similar colors. |
|
After brunch, Renee led us through the small town of Chagrin Falls. There are lots of historic buildings - such as the McClentic building built in 1882 |

Daddy & Mommy in front of the "Famous" Chagrin Falls Popcorn & Ice Cream Shop.
It's a popular stop among many Presidential Campaign trails. |

Hey! I'm "Famous." |

Renee's sister, Nicole, came to visit before dinner. |

These are Renee's children, Giancarlo and Giulia. |
|
I came over after dinner to play a game of lawn tennis. By the time I arrived back at the hotel, I was EXHAUSTED!
Our time in Macedonia, OH is gone all too quickly. I like it here, and Mommy's sad to leave Renee. But there is a ray of hope that Renee will come to visit Lake Havasu. |
